HELPER, Utah — US-6 has re-opened after a closure caused by a semi that crashed amid winter weather conditions.

The Utah Department of Transportation first tweeted about the crash around 9:45 a.m. Thursday, saying US-6 was closed in all directions.

That closure was lifted later Thursday.

The crash occurred at mile post 221, near Helper.

UHP said the crash appeared to be weather related. No injuries were reported.

Winter weather advisories are in effect for large portions of Utah Thursday.
